Happy 12th Birthday!! Kayleigh

It is that time of year where we start the Offical Birthday Season in the Wilson Home. 6 birthdays in 6 weeks + our Anniversary!! Kayleigh's is the one that heads off the summertime fun!! WE did it causel yesterday the big party is on Friday w/ pedicures, manicures, & chocolate Fondue!! Kayleigh & her best friend Gillian went to the Clinique cosmetics counter @ Macy's yesterday to learn to clean their faces & to apply make-up properly. It is a right of passage in the Wilson home. She has worn lipstick & masquera on occasion but this is the big transition into youngwomanhood. I hope you love the pics & the video is of her young women's group @ church singing Happy Birthday @ youth night!! I can't believe my kids are growing so quickly!!

The one that DIDN't Get AwaY!

ok- We went to my best friends house yesterday for a 4th of July party & well we went fishing!!
The sun and moon were positioned perfect in the heavens,
the hotdog was on the hook(yes a hotdog, because we forgot the worms),
the little man Nathan was waiting patiently for all of two minutes,
and it happened the bobber went under & the reel bent and began to squeal with a high pitch.
You guessed it the game was on in the Ramsey Pond.
WE and all the other hopeful fishermen were so prepared to bring in the big one
that well we didn't have a net to bring this one in!!
Super Nolan went to jump in the pond to help bring this one home,
but Ms. Vikki in a calm voice haha yells 'Your momma is gonna kill you!!!'
Nolan just shruggs his shoulders in disconcern and well begins to try to bring it in to shore.
Luckly the master of the lake Kelly comes running w/ the net.
Meanwhile big poppa Matt is holding onto the reel and playing w/ the fish
while everyone else is running from all corners of the farm to see what little man Nathan is bringin' to shore.
Yep this mack daddy catfish was brought to shore w/
a hotdog,
a little man Nathan,
daring nolan,
master Kelly, and
big poppa Matt's masterful skills.
It is 6 lbs 10 oz and 25 inches!!
In 20 years after hearing this story at least 1000 times it will be a 60 lb 10 1/2 oz 25 foot catfish!! lol

The Beach!! Myrtle Beach

Well, we survived a week @ the beach!! It was Ryleigh & Ashleigh's first trip to the ocean or as Ashleigh says "the Lotion". Ryleigh loved watching the waves & Ashleigh was scared too death. WE stayed at @ a beach house that had four bedrooms & a golf cart to take to the beach!! My cousins went w/ us. Traci & her three kids Carlee 13, Ricky 4, & Lauralee 23 months. Lanna brought her fiance Ben & I called them the Love Birds. My mom was with us along w/ a partridge in a pear tree haha So we had 4 kids ages 4 & under. It was a blast!! It was a lot of work, but I want my kids to have memories of vacationing w/ the family. We had several highlights such as burying the kids in the sand, I almost cause a few concussions driving the golfcart w/ my delicate use of the brakes, mom catching the largest fish on the deepseas fishing trip, Nathan almost catching someone's eye casting @ the Pier, and lots of other great times. Visit from the VA in-laws

We had a wonderful visit w/ the in-laws. Yep, you heard it right!! Great Visit from in-laws. Most people complain about in-laws and all that jazz, but mine are the best. No I am not sucking up because they can read this!!!


I absolutely love kids hence me having 5 of my own & always having extras around the house. My sister-in-law Lori brought her 3 beautiful bambinos:
Alexander-5 Maggie 3; and baby Andrew 8 months


We had a great time swimming and playing outside w/ the kids. I enjoyed having other adults around especially Lori, because we both can totally relate to each other w/ kids and dad LOL Harriet, my mother-in-law has had a very long year battling w/ brain, lung, and breast cancer. She is winning the battle and looks 110% better than the last summer. She is a wonderful woman who is fighting a very ugly disease!! George, Nathan, and I had a great stroll in our backyard discovering the small creek & its hidden treasurs on Sunday evening. Lots of fun, but too short of a visit!

OK.... I Did it!!

Ok.... My life is very interesting @least it is amusing to others watching. So let me get started.
I am a mom of 5 wonderful kids & have one beautiful angel baby in Heaven. Yep, thats right I have given birth 6 times & have lived to tell the tale of my crazy life that is a whole blog in itself. I am married to a great guy who challenges me daily on understanding the opposite sex, and learning to apperciate differences & loving the outcome of two people working together to create a happy loving family. I have a wonderful mom who raised me in the way of being a very strong independent woman who loves life & loves to laugh at the silly things that happen. Ok.. Now that was the introduction. Now see what my life is really like!!! :-) This is gonna be fun.
